Artistic Director

The Bloomington Chamber Singers (BCS) seeks a permanent, part-time Artistic Director beginning with the 2025-2026 season to lead our 54-year-old community chorus.  The ensemble consists of 40-50 singers; the season runs from mid-August to early May. 

In the belief that choral singing nurtures the human spirit, the mission of the Bloomington Chamber Singers is to provide excellence in performance, education, and community engagement. As stewards of a rich tradition of choral music, the Bloomington Chamber Singers promote personal growth by offering a fulfilling opportunity for skilled amateur singers to perform a wide range of both sacred and secular choral and choral/orchestral works under the direction of a professional conductor.
