The successful candidate must be a dynamic leaders with a passion for vocal music education.
Responsible for the successful leadership, managment and day-to-day operations of the organization reflecting the strategic direction established by the Board of Directors.
Possess knowledge of federal legislaiton applicable to nonprofit organizations including employment standards, taxation, human rights, and occupational health and safety.
Provide creative and innovative direction for events, activities and programming, possess strong financial acumen, have events planning experience, and inspire and support a hierarchical system of volunteerism through the organization.
Demonstrate passion for community engagement and advocacy for the arts including service of and membership in organizations such as the Cultural Advocacy Network of Michigan.
Travel is required, including evenings and weekends.
