Executive Director

The successful candidate must be a dynamic leaders with a passion for vocal music education.

• Responsible for the successful leadership, managment and day-to-day operations of the organization reflecting the strategic direction established by the Board of Directors.
• Possess knowledge of federal legislaiton applicable to nonprofit organizations including employment standards, taxation, human rights, and occupational health and safety.
• Provide creative and innovative direction for events, activities and programming, possess strong financial acumen, have events planning experience, and inspire and support a hierarchical system of volunteerism through the organization.
• Demonstrate passion for community engagement and advocacy for the arts including service of and membership in organizations such as the Cultural Advocacy Network of Michigan.
• Travel is required, including evenings and weekends.
