Following the retirement of long-time Artistic Director Thomas W. Douglas after 22 years of leadership, the Bach Choir of Pittsburgh (BCP) is seeking a creative and versatile successor to lead the ensemble into its next chapter.
The Bach Choir of Pittsburgh is a volunteer, auditioned choral ensemble of approximately 70 singers dedicated to high-quality, artistically ambitious music. Founded in 1934, the Choir has evolved from its roots in the works of J.S. Bach to perform diverse musical genres and create unique musical experiences. We are looking for a visionary leader to grow the ensemble musically, expand our reach, and strengthen our footprint in the Pittsburgh arts community.
